Meet Examination Prerequisites

18+ years of age by the examination date.

A high school diploma or its equivalent by the examination date.

United States citizen, a United States national, or an alien authorized to work in the United States by the examination date.

Course Completion

Course Completion

Register and successfully complete a 60 hour Hawaii salesperson pre-licensing course and receive your School Completion Certificate.

School Completion Certificates are valid two (2) years from the date of issuance.

Schedule PSI Exam

Schedule PSI Exam

Now that you've passed our pre-licensing course, schedule your in-person or proctored exam by clicking the link below.

You must pass with at least a 70% score for both the National Exam (80 questions, 150 min) and State Exam (50 questions, 90 min)

Pass Exam and Submit Application

Pass Exam and Submit Application

Take and pass Hawaii real estate salesperson examinations (State and National) through PSI. Candidates who successfully pass the examinations will receive a Score Report and information from PSI on how to apply for a license.

Within two (2) years of passing the State and National salesperson’s examinations, submit a complete application for a Hawaii real estate salesperson’s license.

Hang Your License

Hang Your License

Upon review and approval of the complete license application, the applicant will receive a Hawaii real estate salesperson’s license.

To be licensed on active status, the applicant must be employed or associated with a current and active Hawaii licensed real estate brokerage firm or sole proprietor.
